Squash Pumpkin Smoothie

I really wanted to try one of your squash pumpkin smoothies. But alas... all I had to use was an acorn squash. I cooked it up to satisfy my curiosity of these smoothies flavored with pumpkin and spices. My sons and I enjoyed every sip of this smoothie. I was pretty amazed!
These smoothies are a great way to get my kids to drink their veggies. :) Anyways... Here is the recipe that I created with what I had. Enjoy!Squash Pumpkin Smoothie
3/4 cup squash, cooked and chilled
2 tablespoons cashews
1 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp of each spice (nutmeg, ginger, and clove)
1 tsp stevia
3/4 cup water
8 ice cubes
First, blend the squash, cashews, spices, stevia, and water for 40 seconds. Then add the ice and blend for 40 more seconds. It made about 2 cups.Thirsty? Check out more delicious and healthy smoothie recipes!
