100 gram yogurt (any flavour, I use Source, Yoplait 0% fat and no sugar added, therefore only 35 calories per serving)
1 banana
1 kiwi
1/2 apple (peeled and cored)
1 orange (peeled and seeded)
5-6 strawberries (frozen works better)
4-5 ice cubes
1-2 handfuls spinach
1/4 cup oatmeal powder (1/4 cup rolled oats made into a powder by putting it through a spice grinder first)
Place the first 5 ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Then add frozen strawberries and ice and blend adding spinach and oatmeal powder until smooth.
Using a spice grinder is also a great way to help get kids (and some adults) to take their vitamins (or any pill, just make sure they are allowed to be crushed)... put them through the spice grinder then add to the smoothie... they'll never even know!
