1 1/2 cup water
1 small Granny Smith apple Peeled and sliced
1/2 cup fresh Pineapple chunks
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1/2 small avocado
Handful of spinach
1 cup Crushed Ice
Crystal Light Lemonade powder* (to taste)
Blend all of the ingredients completely.
This is my mainstay about 3 days a week for Breakfast and Lunch. Makes enough to fill me up. Drink half for morning, chill rest until lunch. With a sensible dinner, I have lost 13 pounds and 10" around my waist in 2 months. That's a miracle, because at 65 the pounds are extremely stubborn. Hope you like this green smoothie recipe!!!
*DaNae's Note: If someone is avoiding the aspartame in the Crystal Light try Crystal Light Pure Fitness. It is sweetened with mainly stevia and a little bit of cane sugar.
