I've been there! This past year I lost 80 pound in 10 months. Ten months sounds like a long time! I look back and marvel how that time flew by...  But at the same time, I also look back and it seems just like yesterday that I started making these changes in my life.

That being said... you are here to see how to lose weight fast. I encourage you to step back and see the bigger picture. Look at a painting only inches away. Many times it is hard to see what the artist was intending as a whole. But just step back and you can see the whole beautiful picture and see how the little details created a masterful piece of art.

How does stepping back from a painting relate to weight loss? Glad you asked! We may want recipes on smoothies for quick weight loss... but what I didn't understand in the past is how impactful small daily habits (the details) had on lasting weight loss.

Sure we could do temporary drastic diets like (cabbage soup diet, ice hack diet, water fasting) to lose 15 pounds. 8 pounds is most likely water weight. But because we go back to our normal diet, our weight balloons back to where we started... sometimes heavier.

As a weight loss coach, my dream is to bring you to a healthy weight and maintain it for life... all while enjoying the foods you love!

How to Lose weight quickly

Let's get down to the nitty-gritty. You want to lose weight quickly. What does "quickly" mean to you?

From my experience, 1-2% of your body weight a week is a good sustainable goal. For an example: if someone weighed 200 pounds, 200 x .01 to .02 = 2 to 4 pounds

I know that 2-4 pounds doesn't seem like a lot. I challenge you... next time you are at the grocery store, weigh out 4 pounds of bananas. It really is a lot! You

Can't hate yourself thin

We need to learn to love our bodies to health. So many people exercise and restrict their diet almost as if they are punishing themselves to get a thin body.

This is not healthy and will only backfire on you into either an eating disorder or bounce back up in weight.

One key is find food you love that also fuels your body but still is in a calorie deficit.

Two important smoothie tips

One, add your fresh/canned ingredients on the blade first.

Two, blend all your ingredients first before adding your protein powder. It will make a creamier, more dense smoothie.

The smoothie recipes below are full of protein. You certainly should use your favorite protein powder, but I will list the brands that I used.

Four Smoothies for quick weight loss

Pineberry Fit Smoothie

Pineberry Fit Smoothie

5 oz pineapple, fresh or canned in its own juice

5 oz mixed berries, frozen

5 oz cottage cheese

1 oz spinach, fresh

1/2 banana, frozen

sweetener of choice

1 scoop GNC Lean Shake 25 Mixed Berry

Add all the fresh ingredients then the frozen. Blend until smooth. Add the GNC protein powder and blend for 3-5 seconds.


Chocolate Protein Shake

1 cup milk, 2% or sugar free almond milk

1/2 cup (5oz) cottage cheese

1 banana, frozen

2 Tablespoons cocoa powder

sweetener of choice

2 scoops of Vanilla Milkshake Premier Protein Powder

Add all the fresh ingredients then the frozen. Blend until smooth. Add the Premier Protein Powder and blend for 3-5 seconds.  Makes 3 cups



Strawberry Tropics Shake

5oz Pineapple, fresh or canned

2.5oz strawberries, frozen

2.5oz mangoes, frozen

3oz cottage cheese

3 pumps of Jordan's Skinny Syrups

1-2 oz spinach, fresh

2 scoops of Vanilla Milkshake Premier Protein Powder

Add all the fresh ingredients then the frozen. Blend until smooth. Add the Premier Protein Powder and blend for 3-5 seconds. Makes over 2 cups


Lean Frap Shake

1 cup cottage cheese

7 ice cubes, 6 oz

4 oz espresso or strong coffee

sweetener of choice

2 scoops of Vanilla Milkshake Premier Protein Powder

Add all the fresh ingredients then the frozen. Blend until smooth. Add the Premier Protein Powder and blend for 3-5 seconds.
