I don't know about you, but my life is pretty crazy in the mornings. Smoothies are so easy to whip up and take on the run. If you run short of time and think that you don't have time for breakfast, try placing all of the smoothie ingredients in one or two spots in the fridge and/or freezer. You can even cut and wash up what you can. This way you can just dump, blend, and run.
#2 Add Greens to Your Smoothies
Your weight loss success will depend on what ingredients that you blend together. I would highly recommend that you try out a green smoothie. They are the ultimate powerhouse of nutrient dense smoothies. Smoothies made with fruit and greens are very low in calories and fat.
If you aren't ready to add greens to your fruit smoothies... Just try blending up any of my fruit smoothie recipes. Fruit smoothies still have plenty of nutrition and can be low in calories depending on the ingredients.
#3 Add Hemp Protein to Your Smoothies
Whichever you choose... If you pick to add greens or just all fruit to your smoothies, I would highly recommend for you to add hemp seeds.
Many people use whey or soy protein powder filled with a bunch of processed and preserved chemicals. Granted, there are high quality protein powders available on the market. But they come at a high price.
That is where going to the source is much cheaper and perhaps healthier.
Start using hemp seeds slowly in your smoothies. Start with 1 tablespoon in your daily smoothie for one week. Then use 2 tablespoons for the next week. Then 3 tablespoons for the week after that. If you can, work up to 4 tablespoons.
