3 Ways to Lose Weight with Smoothies

Here are 3 ways to lose weight with smoothies... but first let's look at Silena's question.
Question: What smoothie ingredients can I use in a smoothie to lose weight? Outside of the greens, what else would be good to add?
Answer: Besides adding greens... I would suggest to use:
1 - A good quality protein in your smoothies. Either it be a good hemp protein powder, egg whites, rice protein powder, cottage cheese, cooked beans, raw sunflower seeds, etc.
2 - Use water instead of fruit juice as the liquid in the smoothie recipe. This can save you up to 250 calories easily. Plus, it's cheaper.
3 - Among smoothies... Eating at least a pound of raw veggies a day. This amount isn't very much when measuring a cucumber or a carrot. This will help fill you up with good nutrition and fiber.
