Most certainly! You can blend up one of my chocolate smoothie recipes. They do contain fat and calories... Most, if not all, of them are created with whole foods, packed with fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Unlike a chocolate bar, these chocolate smoothies can satisfy your need for more sweets.

Exercise for Weight Loss

Can you lose weight without exercising? Yes... but the weight loss will be slower and you will not get the slender and toned body. Plus, it's great for your heart and lungs to move your body. I highly recommend for someone who wants to lose weight to do a combination of interval aerobic exercise and weight lifting throughout the week.

For instance, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday go walking, jogging, or running. You could even do something that you enjoy... like volleyball, skiing, or even playing tag with your kids. Then on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday do some type of strength training. This will build stronger muscles and bones.

Make sure to not look at exercise as a chore. Change your attitude to look forward to improving your body. In order to have physical fitness, you really have to be consistent with your diet and exercise routine.
