Want to save money and create your own homemade coffee smoothies? Here is the place for you. Not only will these recipes save you money, they will also show you healthy ways to blend up a coffee smoothie.
You don’t need refined sugars and fat-filled creamers to make great coffee smoothie recipes.
You now have no reason to throw out your unused coffee. You have two options on blending your leftover coffee into a creamy homemade frappuccino recipe.
#1 Refrigerate Your Coffee
Have a couple cups of coffee leftover in the mornings? Just place it in the fridge and use it as the liquid in your smoothies.
Coffee, chocolate, and vanilla blend incredibly great together. You can use any chocolate smoothie recipe and substitute the liquid with coffee for great results.
#2 Freeze Your Coffee
Another option is to freeze the coffee in your ice cube trays. Your liquid in your smoothie could then be water or milk.
Want an extra strong coffee smoothie? Use coffee ice cubes and coffee as the liquid.
Most people know that coffee has its side effects. I am not going to go into detail on what caffeine does to your body.
I will say that I personally do not drink coffee. I do make a coffee smoothie about three to five times a year as a tasty treat.
I do like the flavor of coffee smoothies... So I had to search for a safer alternative. Teeccino is caffeine free herbal coffee.
Teeccino grounds look just like coffee grounds. Now, about the flavor... I am not an avid coffee drinker. But Teeccino smells, looks, and tastes very similar to coffee. And brewed Teeccino blends great in smoothies as an alternative for coffee.
Teeccino has about 10 different “coffee” flavors that range from vanilla nut, mocha, regular light roast, to regular dark roast.
You can brew Teeccino in your coffee maker.
If you need to slowly transition off coffee, no problem! Start with 3/4 coffee and 1/4 Teeccino. Gradually increase the amount of Teeccino and decrease the amount of coffee until you are using 100 percent Teeccino. Many people have successfully used Teeccino to wean themselves off of coffee.
If you substitute Teeccino in your coffee smoothies, use it the same way that you would for coffee.
Enjoy the coffee smoothie recipes! My husband and I sure do!
