(Whitley Bay, United Kingdom)

Delicious Green Smoothie

1 banana
15 strawberries
small bunch parsley
spinach (as much as you want)
1 orange

Blend well with water. I enjoyed this smoothie with warm water from the kettle.

Delicious and fulfilling!

Cooking Kale...
by: DaNae

KB,

Theresa is right. Using raw leafy greens in smoothies is the healthiest way to go. Kale is the only green that can be dipped in hot water before blending. This is mostly done for people who have troubles with their Thyroid. I mostly use raw greens in my smoothies.

I hope we answered your question.

Happy Blending!

DaNae

RAW
by: Theresa

Cooking any fruit or vegetable will destroy the flavour, always raw. if the flavour is strong and not to your liking, just add more sweet fruit, enjoy

Kale Smoothie
by: KB

I tried making a Kale smoothie...it was fine, but I wasn't sure if I should cook the Kale first or just put it into the blender uncooked. Any Advice?
