Green smoothies really works!

I started green smoothies 2 1/2 weeks ago. I saw that a friend was doing it and started reading her blogs. I thought, "Wow... this sounds great".

I've been on so many diets. Each time I gain the weight back, because it doesn't last. And I go back to old eating habits.

On this healthy life style change I have been craving WAY less sweets and other unhealthy snacks. Believe me, I am what would be classified as a sugarholic. I would have candy almost every day and eat a lot of other bad things too.

I drink two smoothies a day. I make a big batch in the morning that lasts for both meals. I drink one for breakfast and one for lunch. On the weekends I drink one a day.

I have noticed a lot more energy, and it's steady energy. I have also noticed the cravings for bad food go down a lot! I am not binge eating anymore.

My favorite part is that I have been losing 2-3 pounds a week (I am up to 7 pounds in just under 3 weeks). And I still eat what I want after lunch. I love my new healthier eating habits! And I can't see going back.


Your story is so encouraging to me and hopefully for others who want to be healthier. I'm so happy for you and your new found healthy habit.

As you continue drinking your daily green smoothies, you'll see even more benefits. For instance, I started to notice that my skin cleared up and just looked healthy. (Even in the middle of winter, where I'm usually pale from the lack of sun)
