When I freeze kale, do I cut off the stems before blanching or just keep it whole and freeze it that way?

Well... You can do it either way. Which way to you add it to your smoothies when using fresh kale? I usually remove the stem before freezing my kale.
I also I freeze kale in individual servings so that it is super easy to add to my green smoothies.
