Pear Pineapple Green Smoothie

I really enjoyed this pear pineapple green smoothie.

I order large boxes of fruit when they are in season. Right now, pears are in season. So we ordered 20 pounds. Problem was to eat them all up in time.

We made lots a terrific smoothies with those pears. Plus, I froze about 10 pounds. To freeze pears, I cut them up into cubes and freeze the cubes on parchment paper. When frozen, I put them into Ziploc freezer bags for smoothies.

Pear Green Smoothie

2 ripe pears
1 1/2 cups frozen pineapple
8-12 leaves of Romaine Lettuce
1 tsp stevia
1 1/2 cups water
6 ice cubes

First, I cut out the cores of the pears and added them to the blender. After that, I added the rest of the ingredients for the green smoothie. Make sure to blend the smoothie well in order to not have any little pieces of lettuce or fruit in the drink. Made 5 cups of smoothie.
