1 to 2 cups of Almond milk
4 pieces of Walnuts
1 teaspoon of flax seed
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen peach
Blend all of the ingredients until every is smooth. If not sweet enough, add stevia or a teaspoon of honey.
Strawberry Banana Smoothie
1 to 2 cups of Almond Milk
2 frozen Bananas
1 cup or more of strawberries
Sweetened with honey or stevia to taste
Blend all ingredients until creamy and smooth.
*DaNae's Note: Barbara, thank you for sharing your smoothie recipes! I haven't tried many prunes in my smoothies before. But I have to say... this smoothie looks delicious! And I love the name, "Regulator Smoothie". It made my Mother-in-Law chuckle. :)
For those who don't have a high-powdered blender, grind up the flax seeds in a coffee grinder prior to adding it to the smoothie. One, you have less seeds to chew on while sipping your smoothie. Two, you receive more of the benefits... if the hard shell is broken down.
