Run and Not Be Weary Smoothie

by Ken Rosebrugh
(Edmonton, Alberta, Canada)

This smoothie recipe of ours evolved over several years. My daughter Tanya started it when she was eight years old. She would suprpise me with a large cold glass of 'something' as I worked around our DIY new house.

Run and Not Be Weary Smoothie

Here we go:

two eggs
some nutmeg
Cinnamon
tablespoon of honey,
two tablespoons of peanut butter
a banana
some strawberries
and sometimes a carrot...
and sometimes even some oatmeal!!!
a dash of sea salt

I hope some of your readers will enjoy our special drink.

*DaNae's Note: Thanks for your smoothie recipe! What a interesting combination of ingredients. I think that it's great that your daughter is into smoothies. Thanks again for sharing!
