Yummy Green Peach Smoothie!

Now that peach season is here I can't keep up with them as they ripen. Here is a yummy green peach smoothie I put together with some peaches that had a spot of mold starting on them. (Yes, I cut the mold off!)

PEACHY SMOOTHIE
2 ripe peaches
2 handfuls grapes
2 handfuls sweet red cherries, pits removed
6 ounces snow peas
2 large carrots, cut into chuncks
1 1/2 cups water
6-8 ice cubes
1 1/2 teaspoons agave nectar

Blend!

Makes 4 large smoothies

*May add ground flax/pumpkin/sesame/sunflower seeds for added nutrition.

Peach Smoothie
by: Melissa Ashley

Peaches are rich in vitamin A and vitamin C. It is a fibrous fruit and is very helpful and effective for patients of constipation. I love peaches and all the drinks made from them. I will definitely try your new green peach smoothie. I have a question, Is it fine if I omit the carrots, I don't like them at all.

Smoothies are very delicious and they are healthy also. I frequently prepare smoothies for my family. Actually smoothies are easy to prepare and the ingredients are easy to source. They are not expensive also.

Wow! That is quite a combo green smoothie!

It is great that you are thinking outside of the smoothie box. My creative side usually comes out when I am trying to go through a bunch of produce that needs to be eaten. :)

Thanks for the green smoothie recipe idea!

Happy Blending!
