I've been having delicious green smoothies with kale and/or spinach, yogurt, honey and whatever fruit I happen to have from the local farmer's market for the last few weeks. But have gotten diarrhea from it. Is this normal? Should I stop with the greens or will it go away?? I'm pretty sure it is the kale and spinach doing it...
I know what you are talking about with green smoothies moving the bowels. I wrote all about having regular bowels with green smoothies.
I would try using just spinach in your smoothies to see if that helps you out. Then add kale slowly as your body gets used to the extra fiber.
