Raw Pumpkin Smoothie

Curious how a Raw Pumpkin Smoothie tastes? Well... I can't really pass the smoothie through the computer. But I can tell you what my experience was with the smoothie.
This pumpkin recipe was not my favorite of all of the pumpkin smoothies. I could slightly tell that the pumpkin was raw. But for those who are eating all raw food and are looking for the flavor of pumpkin, this is a great option.
This recipe creates a large smoothie, 4 cups. So you might want to half this recipe before you try it.
Raw Pumpkin Smoothie1 pound raw pumpkin
1 1/2 cups of alternative milk (I used cashew milk)
10 dates (Can add stevia also)
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon ginger
Cut the pumpkin and remove the seeds*. Peel the skin off**. Cube the pumpkin. Place all of the ingredients into the blender except for the ice. Blend until everything is smooth. Add ice and blend again.
*You can lightly toast the pumpkin seeds for a tasty treat.
** Peeling the pumpkin can be a lot of work. I had to get the sharpest knife in the kitchen. But I DID get the pumpkin peeled.
